Use with AI

Every page here has a Markdown twin, the whole site is available as plain text, and the registry works with the shadcn MCP server. Agents can find a component, read how it works and install it without a human copying anything.

Plain text docs

• /llms.txt lists every page with a one line summary.
• /llms-full.txt is the full documentation in one file.
• Add .md to any docs URL, for example /docs/components/tool-call.md.

MCP

The docs serve an MCP endpoint at /api/mcp with tools to list components, read their docs and search the icon set. Install components through the shadcn MCP server after adding the @chatcn namespace to components.json.
